We are delighted to announce that the deadline for the 2017 Prize has been extended until midday, FRIDAY 21 APRIL 2017 due to popular demand.
The £10,000 Prize is open to all artists living and working in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and accepts works in any recognised medium including drawing, painting, watercolour, print, collage, photo-collage, mixed media, and low-relief sculpture and construction. This year, there are no size restriction for submissions.
120 artists will be shortlisted for the exhibition at Piano Nobile Kings Place, from 17 May to 22 September 2017. A prestigious panel of judges including Dr Xavier Bray, Director of the Wallace Collection; Alastair Sooke, Art Critic at The Daily Telegraph and BBC Broadcaster; Charlotte Mullins, art critic and author; Marilyn Scott, Director of The Lightbox Gallery; Richard Borchard, son of Ruth Borchard; and the 2015 winner Shanti Panchal.
