Born in 1996, Fiona Si Hui studied 3D Games Art at the University of Hertfordshire, graduating in 2017. Since graduating, Hui has exhibited her work at Digital Exposé, Royal Ulster Academy and BOS Gallery. Hui's work is held in private collections in Ireland and the U.K. Hui's self-portrait, Out of Depth (2019) was acquired by Ruth Borchard Collection in 2019.

In her signature soft and ethereal style, Hui's Out of Depth explores themes of introspection, existentialism and identity. Hui's figure emerges from layers of streaked oil paint, creating a dream-like image of metamorphosis.
