"This self-portrait is a deeply personal and intricate work, combining crochet and embroidery techniques. In the background, I've crocheted images of my MRI scans, intertwining them with delicate Gulmohar petals.
Upon this textured foundation, I've created a crocheted self-portrait, blending vulnerability and strength. The blurred, dreamlike quality of the piece reflects the turmoil and uncertainty I felt during my health scare. The Gulmohar petals symbolize the resilience and inner fire that carried me through this challenging time. By combining these elements i explored the intersections of art, identity, and the experiences."
