Digitally remodelled print after an original image based on kiri-e, Japanese wood block printing technique. The work references my life in Japan by including a view of Mt. Fuji in the background and my Japanese artist seal with dated signature. This is the second work in the series, 'A story in silico': a description used in systems biology to denote an experimental procedure performed inside a computer. I have extended its use to suggest the algorithmic modelling of these works. As a series, they are designed to be printed onto a number of substrates including washi and glass. They are also designed to be viewed online as digital images.
