My art aims to document my life, mainly by portraying the people around me or people whom I find interesting, with a focus on those living in Glasgow. The act of making a portrait is, for me, an attempt to get to know the sitter a little more, to dig a bit deeper, and hopefully learn something new about either one of us by the end of the process.
