Her paintings and sculptures reflect the complexities of the human condition, exploring themes such as identity, mortality, search for meaning and purpose in a conflict-thorn world, that is often filled with trauma, suffering and tragedy but also perseverance, dignity and compassion. Influenced by her personal philosophical reflections and by an existential psychology theories, Zamanova draws attention to important issues such as an impact of conflict on people and the planet and the resilience of the human spirit. The artist is also inspired by her own experiences and reflections during the war, which she often captures in "Days of War" self-portraits painted with Ukrainian soil, that she collected by herself in Ukraine, Kyiv region. These self-portraits serve as a way for her to process and express her emotions, daily life struggles during the war, and to connect with others who may have gone through similar experiences.
