This series of cyanotype self-portraits explores the fluidity of queer identity through the alchemy of light and chemistry. As a queer individual, my body becomes both subject and site of resistance—its contours fragmented, repeated, or dissolved in Prussian blue. The cyanotype process, historically used for documentation, reclaims the act of archiving: these images are fragile yet defiant, resisting fixed narratives. The imperfections of hand-coated emulsion mirror the vulnerability and resilience of marginalized bodies. Here, visibility is a slow reveal—a testament to the beauty and complexity of existing beyond binaries."
