This online display presents a selection of artworks entered into the 2025 Self Portrait Prize. Displaying self-portraits by artists from all backgrounds and at different stages of their artistic careers, it demonstrates the continuation of the long established tradition of the artist as a subject for their own work. Including painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, photography, video and mixed media artworks, it reveals the diversity and ingenuity apparent amongst contemporary practices.
